Research and engineering: from instructions to verifiable conclusions

NC AgentOS working methods are instruction templates for structuring analysis. They do not switch a model’s hidden reasoning or replace the scientific method.

A research workflow

Define the question, input data and applicability limits. Ask for alternative hypotheses, checkable sources and explicit unknowns. A separate participant can search for contradictions and ways to disprove an explanation.

An engineering workflow

Systems thinking describes connections and constraints. First principles separate assumptions from physical and technical limits. TRIZ helps formulate contradictions and compare resolutions. Calculations, simulations and code require appropriate tools and an authorised environment.

Quality criteria

• Provenance of each significant fact and dataset.
• Reproducible calculations and stated units.
• Separation of experimental results, interpretation and assumptions.
• Independent expert review and acceptance criteria.

Several models can repeat the same error. Use the platform to organise work and compare approaches; validate final conclusions using sources and experiments.
